This week’s article is a gentle reminder to tickle the hope and positive channels in your life.
True strength comes from pushing yourself passed your limits. Build resiliency so that you can ultimately be strong after you’ve failed and experienced some set-back in your life.

Strip yourself from failure’s hold and take a risk for risk-taking is what defines resiliency. If you’ve never felt like a complete failure, then you may be protecting yourself and leading a sheltered, protective life. Life most certainly is not to be lived this way. You can never release your greatest potentials if you live a ‘safe’ life. Taking risks may set you up for failure, but then you have the opportunity to build resiliency. The more risks you take, the more rejections and setbacks you’ll experience – and the bigger and more exciting your life will be and the greater an opportunity you will have to build resiliency!

Strip yourself of those feelings of self-pity because you have stumbled and learn from your failures. Stop wallowing in self-pity and analyze the situation at hand and take note of your failures so that the next time you fail, you do not make the same mistake that you initially made. Don’t let past disappointments discolour your present situation. Learn from your mistakes. Easier said than done? It is worth a try.

The Naked Truth: Building resiliency assists us in being strong, no matter the circumstance. Building resiliency is about figuring out you, who you are and what you want out of your life, and not giving up. Bouncing back after you’ve failed is about persevering no matter what.
